Your artwork is pretty good.

I can't remember if I ever felt like that. I know that I felt like my art wasn't good enough.

The point is there is another point to art then just being "the best". For me, art is all about giving some form of life. We might not get our vision exact or portray exactly how we want it, but as EmiKay said in one of her blogs, your style will make a person want to draw like you.

Do you remember seeing some art as a kid or your favor cartoon and remember how it made you feel? Think about that instead of thinking about how perfect it's not. If you focus too much on detail you might lose the meaning of want you wanted to show in the first place. Nothing in life is perfect, but that doesn't stop us from trying to be our best at the things we love. It encourages us to work harder the next day with a smile in our hearts.

Now for the review. I like your art style. I can't quite put my figure one it but it seems familiar. Like GrayTimber I like the fact that it's done by hand. And yes, it does remind me of Tim Burton.

FrostDrive responds:

You bring up a point that I can't possibly argue with.
Thanks for sharing that. (:
I'll certainly think about it every time I draw now. ^^

simply awesome

The piece is simply beautiful. I love all the detail! How long did it take you to do this?

Madame-origami responds:

Let's see.... I started sketching it Spring break and finished it in July, so 3 months xD

Thank you very much!

ichigo=strawberry right?

the guy below me likes strawberries.

I always like work with a cutesy spirit to it, especially chibi style. I know that it's the spirit of the art that counts with this. My only criticism is that you do some more detail with the hair and ears. Other than that it's great. I give you a 9 here and a 5 there.

Industrial-Soup responds:

LOL I think so.

Thank you for your review, I appreciate it :)

I wonder what's behind here

I love the line art. You put a lot of detail into it!

MaxxieReed responds:

thank you^^~

great

It's a really good picture, but it seems to me that there's something up with the position of her teeth. Great work again.

MaxxieReed responds:

haha...yes, yes...I'm just too lazy to fix that ...^^~

very cute :3

You did a very good job on this. I like the clothes folds and I noticed that you tried to draw each hair. Maybe do some more color with the jacket or some more shading? Everything else is perfect.

MaxxieReed responds:

thank you..^^

nailed it

you pretty much nailed the drawing. I'm looking and it's hard to see a mistake....besides the bow, but that's nothing to worry about. Great job 5's.

Sethdd responds:

Thanks! :)

very nice

It's a great metaphor that's easy to get and understand.

The proportions are great. The shading is good too. What sort of medium did you use?

She seems very sad to me and with some of the marks I wonder what sort of things she has been through.

Just Love it!

TheN0mad responds:

well thanks very much im glad you enjoy my work, as for the medium i usually just sketch things out on paper then ink them, scan them, then re-ink them in photoshop, and then color

Just someone that loves Newgrounds and who is a wannabe artist.
